Endhiran 2.0

I: How is 2.0 the movie? Friend 1: Not good. Don't waste money. HD print will be available in Tamilrockers soon. Watch that. Friend 2: Illa ji. It's good only. Friend 1: What good? Rajini is old. He has said to Shankar (director), “I am old… can't fight and all… take care of the fight…”. So, Shankar has made the fight with animation. Whole movie is full of graphics. It’s like kids movie ji. Don't watch in 3D especially. There is an eagle coming it seems. When you watch in 3D it's biting people's noses it seems. Many have been admitted in GH it seems. In 2 days I'll get you a HD print. Friend 2: *leaves the room angrily* Friend 1: Ji, movie is good. Go and watch in 3D. He is a hardcore Rajini fan and I just wanted to provoke him . It's fun. I: Hmmm. Understood ji, from the beginning. Let me try booking tickets… --- PS: Watched 2.0 yesterday in Mayajal. To me, it was too good. I'd give a 4.5 ⭐.

Baselessness is the new norm

Image
Some people have started writing some baseless stuff. These can at best be called theories or hypothesis. But the writer has no reluctance in stating his baseless theory. பத்தாம் நூற்றாண்டில், ஆதித்ய கரிகாலன் காலத்தில், ஆதித்ய கரிகாலன் பிராமண அதிகாரிகளால் கொல்லப்பட்டு, இயற்கை நீதிக்கு  எதிராக, உத்தம சோழன் அரசனாகப்பட்ட  சூழ்நிலையில் தொடங்கியது என்பது விளங்குகிறது!  unquote The writer assumes a cause of a random riot. He says that the riot happened because brahmins killed Aditya Karikalan and made Uthama Cholan the king and hence the supporters of Aditya Karikalan (who happen to be working class people and warrior class people) started a riot with brahmins. He does not cite any source to prove that brahmins killed Aditya Karikalan. Per his l

Teachers day

I did not wish any one a happy teachers day because that would be too customary and just customary without any sincerity. On one hand we call teachers names and on the other hand we say we respect them. On one hand we ask for 1000% tolerance, non-violence even to a very minimum extent to correct a mistake committed by student from teachers and on the other hand we fail to teach morals to children at home and give them unlimited freedom and worst level of pampering. This western style is going to be a disaster. I have called my professors names. I have called them "karapallan" (one with stained tooth), "gopuram" (one with step hairs), "sotta" (one with bald head) and so on. Had teacher abuse been a cultural thing in India? Meaning, have we had continuous history of students making fun of their teachers in epics and history? I once asked my 75 years old uncle if they abused their teachers in their time? He said, "students strength itself was

What is missing?

IT is not suiting me. I keep losing motivation. I don't have idea if some other profession will help me have sustained motivation. But IT surely isn't keeping me motivated. Money here is good. But, a contentment is missing. I clearly don't want to become a people manager or technical manager. I don't want to lead any team. I don't want to be a project coordinator. I am not interested in PMP stuff. I don't want to be in product development companies as well. I also don't know what I am good at. I don't have any passion that I am aware of. What do I do? What is missing? What should I try without disturbing my current income level? Oops. Thalayellam suththudhu... head is spinning... Hmmm. I will figure out!!!

I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart

Memories of discrimination:         I belong to brahmin community. I like my caste and religion. Whether I was brainwashed and conditioned to love my caste and religion from childhood; I don't know.           The brahmin community is said to have done bad things to the dalit and other lower caste communities. Memory of those atrocities / discrimination are still with people.                   Simbu (Silambarasan), a multi talented film actor, s/o. TR, a famous actor, director and music director, said, in a reality show called Airtel Super Singer, that, he wasn't allowed as main dancer because he didn't belong to a particular caste. He further said, the lead position was given to a kid that belonged to a "particular upper caste", though he performed much better than the kid.          This is bad (the above instance of Simbu), be it any community that denied him the place he deserved. This should never happen to anyone in India. On a side note, th
