Is Ramayana the Indian version of Odyssey?

I saw the below tweet from a D-stock twitter handle. The tweet in Tamil roughly translates to "Ramayana is the exact replica of the Greek literature Odyssey"

The tweeter is proving his claims using some Charu Hasan's facebook post below.

Let's try to approach this question scientifically which the D-stocks are fond of (or so they claim).

Archaeologists have found the ancient city if Dwaraka under water when they explored the exact Dwaraka area claimed in Mahabharata. 

According to the same article Ramayana happened 9000 years before present. 7000 BC. This clearly predates the Odyssey.

The story of Odessey sounds nothing like Ramayana:

So, how does this sound?

Rama goes for a war leaving his son and wife in his palace. The war lasts for 10 years and the way back from war zone to his country is also filled with unexpected adventures which takes another 10 more years. Meanwhile many people assume that Rama was dead and they want to marry Rama's wife. Rama on coming back learns about this, fights against the people who wanted to marry his wife during his absence and saves her thus. 

Does this sound like Ramayana? Bhaktas are gonna kill me when they read this and I am not proud of myself first of all to do this. But what to do? Don't we have to express how ridiculous it sounds? D-stocks are who they are. What better can be expected from them than, "Ramayana is the exact replica of the Greek literature Odyssey" because their fountainhead of knowledge, Saraswati in human form, Charu Hasan himself has said so.

Why do D-stocks do this?

What else? On 22nd Jan this year (2024), Pran Pradhista of Ayodya Ram temple happened and a lot of people visited the temple to get the darshan of Ram Lalla. This has mobilized Hindu votes in favor of BJP for the Loksabha elections that will happen this year May. This desperate attempt to compare Odessey and Ramayana and claim that the latter is the exact replica of the former is nothing but fuming over this Hindu mobilization in favor of BJP.
