Poor man gets abuses from social media for misogyny

This is the news item I am going to talk about in this blog post.

https://www.storypick.com/husband-glorifying-wife/

I am in linkedin, a professional social media platform. I saw the original post of the man glorifying his wife and felt it was a nice gesture.

I also felt that he will invite abuses from the feminist circles for the exact same reason he has been getting now. When you praise your wife for doing a lot of work in home, then you are obviously someone who praises his wife only to keep extracting similar kind of work from her. Indian men are inherently unempathetic and misogynistic. Women in India have to deal with this patriarchal society.

Ultra fake feminists are the ones who we should be bothered the least. I do agree, like other developing countries, India has a lot of scope to improve on women's health, status and well being. No doubt. Women do suffer in India, but India is certainly not like those witch hunting, confining to houses type of society. Working men in India do contribute a lot to the household activities. They are the last ones who need lecture about how to take care of women, and they are the last ones who need lecture on how to take care of women from the ultra take feminists.

I have a bone to pick with these fake ones. In a recent 3 roses tea ad, the mother in law looks for her cup of tea in the table but didn't find it as it's hidden behind a bag. The worried or part-frustrated mother in law advices her pregnant daughter in law (thinking that she wasn't able to make tea due to her pregnancy) to quit her job after the baby is born. The daughter in law lifts her handbag revealing the tea cup that had been hiding behind the bag. Now the DIL says that she will be able to take care of house, baby, and work (now that she has proven that she has made tea on time for her MIL). The MIL is all convinced. Now, how is this ad any different from the husband praising his working wife. In both the cases, it's the same emotion that's invoked. Women can take care of house, baby, and work. Only who invokes the emotion differs. If who says is the problem, objectivity goes for a toss, and fake feminists' visceral hatred for men is revealed. I have not seen any opposition for the 3 roses ad from the feminists. By the way, hardly anyone outside the professional network uses linkedin, whereas the very same idea of "women can (or should aspire to or should) take care of home, baby, and work" is delivered to each house by this ad. Fake feminists seem ok with this door to door delivery of the message.

Ironically, working men, who have got all the abuses are one of the most empathetic lot towards working women and even women in general. But to the fake feminists: who cares, there is a low hanging fruit there - that wife admiring poor fellow. Let's throw misogyny, patriarchy, male chauvinism shit on him who means well and admires his wife.

Fake feminists being a woke lot are typically very vocal. However, the intent of the message was well received by the silent majority. And what to say about the Naari Shakti? Lord Shiva had to be saved by His Consort from the poison. Here too the poor man's wife comes to his rescue and shuts everyone's mouth.

We all must be aware of these fake feminists. We must learn to seek the truth. The reason for writing this blog post is - this had to be said.
