Caste issues - DK vs RSS

While everyone agrees that caste based discriminations are bad and have no place in democracies like ours, DK and RSS have taken two different approaches in combatting the issue.


Colossal failure of DK's fight against caste discriminations:

DMK, an offshoot of DK does caste politics very ably without any remorse. It never played hard to combat the issue. The recent example in which the village panchayat president, Rajalakshmi was made to sit in the floor by a DMK village vice-president Mohan Raj, shows how casteism has been left to grow by DMK.

News media (journalism) also lacks the will to expose caste discriminations by DMK members. Not a single media uttered the party name (DMK) of the perpetrator. Why do you do that, dear journalists? Why? Loyalty? So, caste discrimination when done by DMK is ok? What the !!!! . At the end of this blog I have given a list of  links to news about this issue from many so called leading news papers. 

The VCK party that's supposed to be fighting the atrocities against the SC/ST community vociferously did not bat an eyelid against DMK. Dear Shri Thirumavalavan, all for saving an electoral ally? And the whole dalit community trusts VCK to represent them and elevate them!!! Poor believers of the dalit party.

Today (13/Dec/2020), the topic of the neeya naana talk show of Vijay TV was: People with caste pride vs People without caste pride. In the with-caste-pride side were pathetic village people who had no clue, even about the obvious outcome of the show (that they are going to be humiliated). In the without-caste-pride side were very smart and well articulate people. The latter side beat the crap out of the with-caste-pride people. This is the best "surface level" "caste discrimination" fight that the DK/DMK built media does. Vijay TV is not even a news channel, btw.

Summarizing the colossal failure...

1) The party, DMK, that has vowed to realize the dreams of thanthai Periyar aka. EVR in bringing an end to the caste system has no idea where it stands in its so called mission.

2) The news media ecosystem, now just puppets of leftist ideologists, uses all its articulatory skills in shielding its ideological party. What the news media turning deaf ears to DMK party men's crimes effectively means is: A crime is a crime only when it's done by a non-DMK or a non-left person. A caste discrimination is not a caste discrimination when done by DMK/left. Or, at best, caste discrimination is a caste discrimination, but we won't mention the party name because the party and we (the journalists created by DK/DMK/left ideologically) pamper each other. Overall, the news media follows suite after their parent ideology party DK/DMK in their failure.

3) Dalit parties show no interest in fighting discriminations against the people who they have promised to protect and elevate, if doing so puts the political ally they are a part of at stake.

Over all, DK/DMK's fight against caste discrimination has been all noise. No real work.

Doing it the RSS way:

The fight against the caste discrimination as I understand as being strategized (does RSS strategize? or does the way just happen by the RSS culture?) by RSS can be best understood by an analogy. Has anyone seen any person say they won't work for HCL technologies or won't admit their son/daughter in SSN engineering college? RSS draws inspirations from these type of success stories. Excelling is the best way to fight caste discrimination. I think this is the RSS way. I may be wrong and would like to stand corrected if pointed out with evidences.

In RSS, no one asks what caste other fellow SSs belong to. Even if by some way swayamsevaks (SS) come to know the caste of an other SS, it will just be an insignificant info, as far as I have seen. Probably a SS will not even know if that caste is categorized as BC/MBC/SC/ST. It is for the same reason, SS will not have any problem in accepting the leadership of any able leader. The same quality can be seen from the members of BJP, that is considered an offshoot of the RSS.

Let me tell you what message I get from the sangha constantly: 'Who cares what caste you belong to? All that matters is - are you a responsible, patriotic Indian citizen? By all means, feel proud of your caste, take pride in your history, get inspired from your history, learn lessons from the failures in your history, and do something more than your ancestors. Use caste positively if you want. Unite people from all castes and communities. Join hands with people from all walks of life and impact the environment around you positively.'

Is Ramayana the Indian version of Odyssey?

I saw the below tweet from a D-stock twitter handle. The tweet in Tamil roughly translates to "Ramayana is the exact replica of the Greek literature Odyssey" The tweeter is proving his claims using some Charu Hasan's facebook post below.
