I said to my sister, "Krithika, If you want to take a snap of any child, give it a chocolate or an ice cream and photograph it, to capture its naturally-joyous mood. I read it somewhere in the net..". My mom instantaneously replied, "Krithika, if you want to take a photograph of Balaji, in his naturally-joyous mood, capture him with a Vadivel comedy ON in the TV. I also read it somewhere......".

Amma, you are damaging me too much :) ..

Is Ramayana the Indian version of Odyssey?

I saw the below tweet from a D-stock twitter handle. The tweet in Tamil roughly translates to "Ramayana is the exact replica of the Greek literature Odyssey" The tweeter is proving his claims using some Charu Hasan's facebook post below. Let's try to approach this question scientifically which the D-stocks are fond of (or so they claim). In this blog post I am going to try and articulate the need and importance of political leverage and why the brahmin community needs it for its survival and at a later point of time, thriving. It will also be evident that communities without political leverage would be bound to undergo subhuman treatment from other communities and denial of even fundamental justice.
